Welcome from our principal
Welcome to William Dean Public School, we serve the Dean Park and Colebee neighbourhoods, and we are a growing school that was established in 1988.
At William Dean Public School, we believe that learning together through collaboration is our key to accelerating student growth and attainment, ensuring the holistic development of confident, critical and creative learners.
We do this through building an authentic and engaging learning culture across our school community where everyone is known valued and cared for.
We take immense pride in being a diverse and inclusive primary school where every child's unique background and perspective are celebrated. Our commitment to fostering a safe, kind and respectful environment is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that by nurturing these values, we can help our students grow into compassionate and thoughtful individuals.

Specialist staff
William Dean Public School has a team of talented, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers. In addition to classroom teachers, the school offers specialist teachers who provide further programs to enhance student learning.
English as an Additional Language or Dialect
Being able to use and understand more than one language is an advantage. If your child does not speak English, we have a specialist teacher at school to help your child learn the English language. We encourage families who are from non-English speaking backgrounds to continue using their native language with their child.

Our administrative and operations staff keep our school running smoothly. They support students, teachers and families every day. You can find them in our front office or on the school grounds.
